    • By Metro

      The nearest metro station is SOL, the closest exit to the hotel is Mayor Street. You only have to walk up Esparteros Street to see the hotel right in front of you. From the airport, travel time by metro is around 40 minutes.

    • En Taxi

      The approximate travel time is around 25 to 35 minutes. The exact address is Atocha Street #2. The clearest reference is the Plaza Mayor going up by Atocha Street.

    • With your own vehicle

      Near the Hotel you have 2 public parkings. In order to arrive at the Hotel, you can arrive by going up Toledo Street all the way to the beginning and then enter the parking of the Plaza Mayor (under the place). Or you can go up by Atocha street from the roundabout of Atocha (right in front of Atocha train station). Once on Atocha Street you should go all the way to the end to get to the hotel.

  • How to get to the hotel from the airport

    • By underground/subway

      From any of the two Metro stations (Airport terminals T1, T2, T3 or T4), take line 4 and get off at the last station (Nuevos Ministerios). Once there, change to line 10 towards Puerta del Sur and get off at Tribunal. Then take line 1 towards Valdecarros and get off at Sol Metro Station. The journey lasts about 45 minutes.

    • By bus

      There is a 24 hour express bus line between terminal T4 and Atocha during the day and Cibeles at night. This is the best option to travel late at night with buses running quite often. The journey lasts about 40 minutes.

    • By taxi

      You will find a taxi rank outside all the airport terminals. A taxi ride to the Plaza Mayor Hotel will cost you around 35 Euros and will take around 25 minutes. Take into account that you will have to pay a supplement for airport pick-up of 5.50 Euros but there is no supplement for carrying luggage.

    • By local train

      You can also travel from the airport on the local train service. Line C-1 will take you from the Airport Terminal T4 to Chamartín station in the city centre or vice versa. Once there, change to train line 3 or 4 and get off at Sol, the closest station to the Hotel. It will take you around 35 minutes.
