What time is check in and check out?

Check-in after 12:30p.m. Check-out before 12:00a.m.

# Can I leave the room late?

Generally NO, although upon request an extra payment you may be able to extend the departure time. Always subject to availability.

Can I choose the type of bed in my room? (Large bed – two beds)

Yes, but only at the time of booking, never later. There are different types of rooms available upon booking.

Do the rooms have a balcony or terrace? Can I reserve one?

Only the suite has a terrace, some superior double rooms have a small balcony.

Are there non-smoking rooms?

Yes, but only the superior and triple rooms and the Suite del Palomar.

How many storeys does the building have? Is there a lift?

There are 6 floors and a lift.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms? Does it work all year round?

Yes, it works all year round. From May to October only cold air and the rest of the year only heating.

Is your hotel adapted for the handicapped?

No, it isn’t.

Can you keep my luggage when I leave the room?

Yes, we can but only on the day of arrival and departure.

Is there a safe place to park my car? How much does it cost?

Opposite the hotel there are two underground public car parks with security which do not belong to the hotel. Prices cannot be confirmed.

Does the hotel have an Internet or e-mail terminal for guests?

Yes there is a free wireless area in the lobby and a fixed Internet point (charged service).

Do you have high-speed internet in the room for my portable computer? Is it wireless?

There is wireless throughout the hotel, Wi-Fi free in every room for laptops.

Do you have a quiet, romantic room? How can I reserve it?

Yes, we have a suite called Suite del Palomar which may only be reserved by e-mail.

What languages are spoken in Reception?

Spanish and English.

Where may I rent a car?

The nearest place is the Atocha train station or Gran Vía.

How far are you from the Prado Museum?

15 minutes on foot.

How much does a taxi from the airport cost? How long does it take?

Around 30 - 35 €. 30 to 40 minutes.

In what kind of a neighbourhood are you?

We are located in the central tourist area and historical quarter. The area is generally safe providing you take due precaution as you would in all large cities.

I am travelling to attend a trade fair at IFEMA: will it be easy to reach from your hotel?

We are in the city centre, to get to IFEMA you can take a taxi (approx. 30 minutes) or the underground (approx. 40 minutes).
